Our Health Guarantee & Commitment
At Beagle Haven, we stand behind the health of our hounds. We provide a comprehensive health guarantee that covers congenital or hereditary conditions that could significantly impact your puppy’s quality of life.
In the rare event that a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious hereditary issue within the guarantee window, we ask that you notify us immediately and provide the official written veterinary documentation. If a verified, health-related concern ever arises, our absolute goal is to work alongside your family fairly, openly, and responsibly to find the best path forward.
Buyer Responsibilities
Maintaining Your Health Guarantee
To keep this health guarantee valid, buyers agree to meet the following care standards:
Initial Vet Visit: Schedule a complete veterinary examination within 72 hours of bringing your puppy home.
Daily Wellness: Provide premium nutrition, safe housing, regular exercise, and consistent routine veterinary care.
Preventative Health: Follow the recommended puppy vaccination and booster schedules.
Safe Environment: Protect the puppy from neglect, abuse, or hazardous living conditions.
Please note: Failure to provide appropriate care or complete the initial 72-hour veterinary checkup may void portions of this guarantee.
Non-Covered Conditions
Exclusions From the Health Guarantee
Please note that this guarantee is strictly focused on major genetic and hereditary conditions, and does not cover the following:
Minor, Treatable Illnesses: Common, easily treatable issues (such as mild skin irritations or easily managed parasites) that are typical for growing puppies.
Transition Stress: Short-term, stress-related conditions caused by travel, rehoming, or environmental changes (such as minor stomach upsets).
Post-Departure Injuries: Physical injuries or trauma that occur after the puppy leaves Beagle Haven.
Environmental & Accidental Issues: Health conditions resulting from improper care, accidents, or negligence once the puppy is in your home.
Routine Veterinary Costs: Standard medical expenses, including checkups, subsequent vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and spay/neuter procedures.
No Guarantee Against Common Variations
Natural Growth & Development Disclaimer
Because Beagles are living animals that develop uniquely as they mature, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for the following:
Adult Size or Weight: While we can estimate based on the parents and whether the puppy belongs to the 13-inch or 15-inch variety, final adult size can vary.
Coat Color Changes: Beagle coat patterns and colors naturally shift, fade, or deepen as they grow from puppyhood to adulthood.
Breeding Ability: We do not guarantee a puppy’s future reproductive success or fertility.
Show Quality: We cannot guarantee success in the show ring or specific confirmation outcomes.
Temperament Variations: A dog’s final behavior is heavily shaped by its environment, home life, socialization, and ongoing training.
